With too many PPE, Law, and PR trained people in politics, perhaps it's time we channelled the spirit of Brunel and Newton and Faraday and Ava Lovelace into politics - where science, and true objectivity rather than the argued feints of lawyers and the interpretation of subjective perceptions should help us govern?

Enjoy the weather whilst it lasts! And please mind the birds!

With the weather getting hot-hot-hot this weekend, a Worcester Decorator ponders on the delightful interruptions of exterior decorating at this time of year. With the delightful acrobatics of the birds on display (please, no silly jokes), we have braved the ire of nesting starlings on a neighbouring building and befriended a nesting robin in a pub garden. Taking care not to disturb the avians, they are a wonderful companion to our decorating (except the starlings).
