Worcester Decorators are still working in Lockdown 3!

2021 has not started well. The fears of the new variant seem to have been warranted, as hospital wards are rapidly filling up and we could be two short weeks away from capacity. Social distancing and work from home orders must be obeyed if we are to have any chance of ‘flattening the curve’ before the vaccine comes into play.

Of course, decorators and tradespeople cannot work from home. Cleaners, plumbers, carpet fitters, electricians, and dozens of other talented and hard working people work in the homes of others. Like them, Worcester Decorators has chosen to continue our trade whilst adhering to the latest government advice.

At its most basic level, this means that face masks need to be worn inside, and that any contact with house hold members should be done only via the minimum of 2 metres social distancing. Gloves should also be worn.

To date, we have been following these restrictions since March anyhow, and we find that all of our clients respect the rules and have made conscious efforts to stay out of the way. We have been fortunate too: a number of our jobs have been in buildings ‘devoid of occupants,’ so our work in public premises, shop fitting, and in renovations has allowed us a degree of safety.

So if you do need an interior decorator for your Worcestershire property, then you can book us safe in the knowledge that we will do our utmost for the safety of our clients and staff alike.

Stay safe.
