With the weather getting hot-hot-hot this weekend, a Worcester Decorator ponders on the delightful interruptions of exterior decorating at this time of year. With the delightful acrobatics of the birds on display (please, no silly jokes), we have braved the ire of nesting starlings on a neighbouring building and befriended a nesting robin in a pub garden. Taking care not to disturb the avians, they are a wonderful companion to our decorating (except the starlings).

With the bank holiday nearly upon us, a Worcester Decorator notes down some of the activities going on and urges you not to miss out on the fun in store for us all this weekend. From a school fete to a chilli festival and lots more, there's a huge amount of family fun to be had in Worcester this weekend!

As someone who works as a decorator in Worcester, my efforts are often spent in diligent care for my walls and ceilings. But I have to confess, I couldn't contain a howl of laughter at an unknown street decorator's efforts in Manchester to draw the council's attention to the pothole problem. We at Worcester Decorators decided to jot down an account of our activities over the course of a single day in March last month.
